Whether you are an expert or a beginner, you will find the right certification for you in the IPMA International Certificates, which will prove your professional competence.
Certification is open to anyone who is eligible in terms of their project management knowledge and experience. One does not need to be a member of IPMA South Africa to apply for certification and we only offer certification in English.

The four levels of IPMA certification are as follows:
IPMA Level A

IPMA Level B

Certified Senior Project Manager

IPMA Level D

Globally recognized framework
The IPMA (International Project Management Association) 4-level certification system is a globally recognized framework that assesses and certifies project management competence at different levels of experience and expertise. The IPMA certification system is based on a competency-based approach, focusing on the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to effectively manage projects.

IPMA certifications are independently conducted. Completing the certification does not require a separate course.

World of project management
The Project Manager title is a generic term for a highly diverse profession. In other words, not all project managers are alike! Project managers differ according to experience and to the organisational level at which they are active. The same also applies to the complexity and number of projects under their purview.

Worldwide, the IPMA certification is based on the global competence standard, ICB (International Competence Baseline). This standard is defined by the IPMA and describes the competences that project, programme and portfolio managers should possess.
